Or you can get the header wrap type boots for the plug end of the wires. I would have put header wrap on the headers before I installed them anyhow. It makes a big difference in the under hood temp.

I wouldn't use header wrap on a street driven vehicle, you are just asking for rust. Now wrapping wires with header wrap works very well.

wellll.... went to the shop early to get everything buttoned up. no clearance issues, everything fit like a glove. Lowered the truck down from the lift and wouldnt start. Looks like we are putting in a starter first thing in the morning :emotions122:

Do all of the long tube headers need to be modified to make fit? I would love to do this down the road.

Phantom, you had to bang a side in to fit?

I didn't, but it came close. Have a couple millimeters of space to the steering shaft

can someone tell me how to upload them seeing as the link wont work? cant figure it out lol

You can either go to Photobucket (or any free picture hosting site) and create an account, then upload and link your pictures to that, or create an album through your account on here. Just click on your username up in the top right corner, then click on the "show all albums" on the right side and then "add album" and upload the pics.

Looks good, I forgot how much rust you guys get out in the NE haha...

What are the primary size on most of these lower cost ones? Has anyone tried any of the tuned varieties?
