I also pulled the cladding/trim off that surrounds the factory steps. I'm not a fan of the steps at all, but its my wife's car and she needs them.

As for trimming, I removed a bit of the lower Z71 valance, trimmed the splashwell/inner fender a little bit, and its good with no rubbing. I didn't trim metal. I haven't been off-road yet, but I did mess around with speed bumps while turned at full lock, and still no rubbing.

Ill try to get better pics...ran out of light.

Wife loves the aggressive stance and look! I'm happy with it as well.

Still not sure if I will need a rear spacer - as of now I don't think so, its pretty level.

Measurements with stock tires, stock and leveled suspension:
Dr Front: 35" before, 37 3/8" after, 38 1/2" leveled with tires
Pas Front: 35 1/4" before, 37 3/4" after, 38 3/4" leveled with tires
Dr Rear: 37 1/2" before, same after, 38 3/8" leveled with tires
Pas Rear: 37 5/8", same after, 38 1/2" leveled w/tires
The ground wasn't exactly level but it was the best I could do.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks,
SQ

I need to get a few side pics to show how they sit in relation to the edge of the fenders.

Any opinions on red calipers and bow ties? the factory z71 emblem has red/black, figured the calipers and bow ties being red would look good and subtle.

Here are a few pics showing how far they stick out:

Excuse the dirty pics...driving across texas in the spring will cover your grill in bugs.

Looks good. For the tune look up BlackBear, CAI I would do Volant and for Exhaust Magnaflow seems to be on top on these trucks.

Great looking Tahoe Shawn, love the stance and the wheels. Do you have any rubbing at full lock either way?
Has me thinking about putting my leveling kit back on and seems like a great offset on the wheels.

I'm not sure what the underside of a non-z71 looks like...but on my Z71, I just trimmed the wheel well liner. If you look in the wheel well, front side. I went about 3" from the bottom of the liner and trimmed it all the way across. from the outside to the shock tower.

I then removed that plastic 'webbing' stuff that is between the wheel well liner and the front bumper cover. I left the area in this webbing that connects the bumper cover to the metal mount (as this gives the cover support).

Looks good and works good, no rubbing.

I've yet to have the back rub. We had 2 people in it and 4 20" wheels/tires and it didn't squat enough to rub. No trimming at all back there.
