Belltech 2410FF shocks have:Whats the trick to limit rear travel while on a 2 post, limit straps??
From searching around, Guys can use a strut spacer backwards to gain another .750 -1” drop on a strut flip. CV axle and the strut get really snuggly. What is the Rough Country shim "trick"???
Your rear suspension should be limited by the rear shocks and not allow the springs to come out.
Yeah, with the drop brackets I can remove the springs at full droop, maybe a non issue potentially never going airbore while moving lol.Thats a good idea, limit straps.
I have PPV rear springs springs with 1" spacer. My z71 shocks could still allow my rear spring to pop out. PPV shocks would be a little short. If I can't find the right length shock, limit straps might be the solution.. Stock shocks may work, but the PPV springs don't extend very much..
I didn't realize this was a trick. From searching around, Guys can use a strut spacer backwards to gain another .750 -1” drop on a strut flip. CV axle and the strut get really snuggly.
Yep, bought the kit for the extra drop and bolts. incase the knuckles and strut flip wasn’t enough.. but it’s plenty. So I went down to the ol’industrial supply and splurged on 12.9 hardware. So far so goodI didn't realize this was a trick.
The drop kit Rough Country sells comes with a 1/4" spacer to go with the grade 9 hardware which they claim equals a 2" drop. The way the geometry is on these rigs a 1/4" spacer equates to 1/2" drop, or lift depending on where you put the spacer.
