Did you get a chance to view the whole thread? Some pictures and explanation of the mod.
The ones on the bottom are the wrong ones. Fogs LED are for different model gmc.
I did read the whole thread, and I'm confused. You say that the lights fit inside the dust cover housing without issue, but the picture you posted, that I quoted above, seems to show the heat sink or fan protruding a couple inches past the dust cover opening. Based on that picture, I can't see how there would not be a problem.

Maybe it's the angle or something - just looking for clarification.

Those are the fog lights. There is no dust cover down there.
Only dust covers are on the high and Lows. Which those models 9005 and H11 worked fine.
The fog lights are wrong ones. Sent them back.

I'm about to order the low beams for my 16 Tahoe. Does the ballast tie into the wires inside the light requiring you to run wires outside the dust cap or does the ballast plug into external wiring? It would probably make sense once I look at it, just like to be prepared...

And I assume no flickering or lamp out warnings? I come from the long history of Dodge trucks and they are a pain when it comes to lights.

Installed these in my low beams this weekend, so far so good. Will probably do the highs and fogs just to match.

Very easy to install. 60 watts is more than enough. Nice and bright.

I have 16 Yukon SLT. Did the License Plate and Reverse. For all of you who upgraded Lows and Highs with the LED with Heat Sinks.. are you saying that the new LED you installed with the fan/heat-sink and also the small black box with the power convertor all fit into the LOW and HIGH light housing itself and you were able to get the dust covers back on (and screw in completely) without any modification to the cap itself?

Yes, take a look at the couple of pictures. Plenty of room with no issues.
Make sure you don't turn on the truck while you have the air filter unplug.

No, why? This will be pretty much as any other SUV out in market.
I'll see if I have some time tonight and put my wife's SUV 2016 Lexus GX 460 with stock HID and pretty much at the same height. Hers are bright as hell.

Just making sure before I pull the trigger on lows and fogs. I can't stand being blinded by idiots with headlights too bright for street use. Thanks for the info.

Lexus GX460 HIDs Vs aftermarket LEDS
HIDs on the LEX are nice specially with the adaptive system. Headlights turns right or left or move up and down with the vehicle.
AFS adaptive front lighting system
