Leds for License Plate Light

Do you guys think these will fit in the license plate light

or these

1st ones wont fit. 2nd ones are pretty close on the ones I had.

When I used the 2nd ones, they were pushed all the way to the front of the lens cover...they might have been too long, but with force they made it lol. Not to say that its a good thing tho.

I had the second ones and had a tight fit. So tight I broke a trace on one bulb. Now I have ones very similar to the first ones and they're great. Just make sure the base is standard 194 size. And they lookbetter because all the light shines out the front and not wasted for the sides in a non reflective housing.

The flux leds you just posted may be too big. The other ones will probably work though. If I were you, I'd go with the first ones in the first post.

You think the 1st will fit the tag lights and will they fit the map and door lights

Also to replace the door lights do you have to take the panel off or just the cover

Yes they'll work for tags and maps and doors. But I'd use bigger ones for the doors. I'll have to get you a pic later. To get to the door lights just get a small flathead and pry open from the red side.

Also will a 68 smd 3157 be brighter than stock?


And which of these bulbs will fit all the need locations (puddle&domes)

An 42mm 8smd 2 rows of 4

or

16 smd 4 rows of 4

I have these for maps, footwells, and doors-

I have these for tags-

But I want these for my doors-

For my puddles and domes I have ones similar to these. I wouldn't go bigger for puddles because it's a tight fit-

This is just what I have for my truck and not necessarily recommendations.

As for the 68 smd being brighter than stock... that all depends on the leds used to make the bulb.

i have these second ones in my doors and uder the dash where it lights up the floor and also on the two round dome lights on top..work great for me..also have those in my dash

I'm pretty sure they will fit puddles and definitely domes. They actually look a little more narrow than he ones I have. How much they want for those?
