I'm thinking about buying a 50inch curved light bar for my Yukon XL, but I'm concerned about drilling holes in my door jam as well as running the wire to the engine compartment, any suggestions? But I know that if I do this, it will look amazing

Im not sure how and where you are planning to mount it but running wires is the least of your worries. Summit Racing has all kinds of grommets for that.

And what this about drilling holes in your door jam?

Oh ok.
I really dont see an issue with drilling through that upper part of the door jam. Get a couple people to help though...to make sure the bar is level when mocking up before you drill.

The install wasnt too bad but had to modify the brackets to prevent the bar from hitting the antenna, other than that it look great

Looks good. Just curious if you get glare on the hood?
