So last weekend I changed my rear diff fluid and throw a new gasket on and painted the cover. Fixed my leak but today I noticed a leak at the spot where the drive shaft connects. I am guessing there is a seal of sorts there I need to replace???

yep and the pinion will have to come apart a bit to do it.
