So wife's tahoe needed new stepper motors.. go figure.. ordered a kit off eBay.. had 6 new motors in it.. followed the directions and knocked it out.. plugged it in let it run for a bit before putting the needles back on and did that then went to test drive and the tach wasn't working.. pulled the gauges again and tried another motor in it.. well it barely works and when it does it goes in the wrong direction!!! oddly there isn't a polarity for them they only go in one way.. anybody run into this?

I tried replacing mine the other day, nothing worked right so I just bought a remanufactured from rockauto.

I've read that clusters from the NBS model years have known soldering issues. Check out www.fixmygauges.com for info. Great company to do business with if you go the remanufactured or upgrade route.
