Yeah, it does suck to get old. And, it really sucks when you get too old to do things that you love to do. But, that's life.

I got too old to do deep decompression wreck diving decades ago, but I still have all of my dive equipment. It's still too hard to let go of it, even though I know that I'll never use them again. @OR VietVet , good for you to face this evolution. It may give me the incentive to do what I need to do.

In this case, there are way too many tools that I have that will never be used again. Why not let a youngster get their start in the business and keep them off the tool trucks, at least for a little while. I get some money and will still get a small roll around cart with some basic tools, like ICON, and be able to do easy on the body things for my own trucks and others.

When I recently sold my girl's 1990 K2500 ext cab she cried because she had the truck for close to 14 years. It sold well at $10k. I will likely have a tear too when my tools go because of all the work they have done for me. It is what it is.

I have a set of updated pics that show the tools right now. If you want them, message me a cell number and I will send them. Not gonna update all the pics on the forum.

Please remember that it is not just the tools in the pics. It is also 4 of the 6 ton Daytona jack stands, 2 of the 3 ton Hein Werner jack stands, 2 of the 3 ton floor jacks, 1 garage/shop battery charger that is virtually new, and a set of ramps.

I had another call today and the guy said he needed them for a new job he just got. He asked, "If I put a large down payment on the $30k, can I make payments". I had already said in the ad, NO PAYMENTS but I had to see what he said for a large down payment. He said, "$1000". I did not yell at him. I just said, "NO"!

Another call tonight and was a dad and said his son was starting to work at the wind farms near the Dalles, by the Columbia River. He offered $1800 for the whole thing and I told him he was $28,200 short. They are coming out of the woodwork up here. Sheesh!!!!!!!
Then he told me he could buy a lot of tools at HF for $1800. I agreed and said goodbye.
