I just installed a key lift on my 2001 GMC Yukon XL 4X4

Just heads up anyone planning to do this a 1 inch spacer in the rear not enough I now sitting about 1/2 high in the front with the key lift not cranked up at all.

My next purchase is going to be Z71 rear springs this should get the rear where it should be with my 1 inch spacers.

I am planning to get a set of Bilstein Shocks down the road but I am on a budget as most everyone else is.

So it might be a little bit before I save enough pennies to buy new shocks.

Review

I have not driven it much after lifting it so far.

I need to get it alignment done I have a 1 year deal with Sears so when I get time I take down to them and get it done.

But the ride seems smoother there is more travel before the A Arms were more or less riding on the bumper stops.

I am sure after getting the front end done it going to be that much nicer.

What height are you at front and back?

Heights

37 1/2 front ground to fender Rear 37 Ground to fender.

I trying to decide do I want to go with a 2 inch spacer or 2 1/2 inch spacer in the rear to get it a little higher.

and decrank front .5

Any weight in the back, like subs or some hookers will make it squat.

The Keys are not cranked and I using a 1 inch block know I have my daughters softball team equipment bag in back besides that no extra weight.

I installed the 2.5 rear spacers and rear shock extender this is exactly what I wanted.

it has the same rake once again as stock so when I do tow with it will sit level.

I am very happy with the Key lift not cranked and 2.5 inch rear spacer.

The front is 37.7 and 39.50 in the rear

looks great ,I have done the same as you with my hoe and very happy ,I sit 37 1/2 f ,40 r,the bilsteins are awesome,time for tires
