What's up guys. Last month, I went to new mexico to go snowboarding and had a flat AND and one of my HID's went out. What a trip... well anyways, I got some 8k, 35W HID's from ddmtuning.com for my low beams. I -HAD- 35W, 10k Xantec HID's before and i'm definitely glad they are not as blue. Also, when I put my reverse HID's in I got 8k's so now they match 'em perfect. Just picked up some 8k HID high beams too but it's dark out and they just came in the mail so I haven't put them in...yet. i'll update post with pics when they go in tomorrow. Anyways, here are some pics of the front of my car with the headlights off, on, and low beam w/ LED 8k Fog's. I also took a few pics of my best friends Sierra Denali on 22s. Let me know what you guy's think.

Looks great, yea 10k's are just to blue for me as well

I agree. Now my Low Beam, High Beam, and Reverse light HID's are a matching 8k. :Handshake:

nice, question....you like that new GMC truck?

Yea I do like the new GMC truck...you don't? My dad has an 07 silverado so I personally would never own a truck since one is accessible if i did need it.

But -IF- I did have a truck, I would buy this exact one. It's a Sierra Denali fully loaded with the GM CK375 22's with some wide tires, HID's/full LED interior/LED reverse lights.. It's my friends who has never seen this forum before but after he saw me do all these mods, he couldn't help but mod his truck as well.

Thanks Ski... I wasn't sure if i wanted all white or white with chrome.. I think I made the right decision... and the rims are big but I think they look clean and aren't as gaudy as some of the other chrome 24s around...

Hey Matt, what ever you do, don't run anything higher than 6K here in the Valley. I got a ticket for my 10k's. I put 6K's in and CHP signed my ticket off. So it seems 4300K and 6K are good to go in the valley so far :)

Thats's a sweet looking Tahoe Felix! I really like what you done to it. To me it has a modded yet classy look behind it :)

Ohhh awesome. Yea I love em.. most of the sierra/silverado's don't have the 6.2L like the Sierra Denali's do so it's pretty awesome to drive (especially when you take off traction control!). It's my best friends and i've driven it before and love it. Taking turns you can feel the heaviness of the engine but man does it have some power! The sound it makes when you turn the engine on KILLS my 5.3L Tahoe's! I love the ride and I love the power.. sucks there is no AutoRide though (only in esky, yukon denali, and tahoe ltz).. his truck on 22s rides just like mine with autoride and 24s... we both have 305s too. So basically if i ever needed to buy a truck, this is the one I would buy.

My friend got a ticket for having 12k purple (GROSS) HID's in.. his were in an nbs and that purple looks god awful in such a small light housing IMO. I used to love the blue tint on my 10ks but 8k retains more of a stock 'white light' look versus that straight up blue. But yea, tickets are issued to people with too 'blue' or 'purple' lights here in LA too! And thanks btw I appreciate it... ya know that's exactly what I was going for. I want people who don't really look at cars like -we- do to not even notice anything has changed besides the fact that it looks CLEAN. But if you DO like/appreciate mods on cars and know tahoes... then you can for sure tell mine has a few clean additions :Handshake:

cool, great feedback, thanks man!!

No prob. My friends 2010 escalade drives identical to the sierra denali though and it sounds the exact same when it turns on... all this talk about the 6.2L makes me want to trade mine in for a denali! Only thing different I notice in driving those two is the turning radius on the sierra denali is not nearly as good (obviously bc of the longer body/frame).

Drop
Color matched bowties (at the paint shop now)
DJM sway bars
Esky roof rack
LTZ molding
HID's

Thats probably it!! Gotta save those funds for the Dmax man, this is the wife's whip!!!
