Just installed my 4300k HID FogLights

Gotta just say WOW! I LOVE these things! Amazing what a difference it made. I picked the kit up (25w) from http://www.turnagainhighlights.com/

Had them installed in about an hour and was tearing around the neighborhood in the dark, turning them on and off to see the difference.

I took a few pics of the install and before/after shots if anyone is interested I'll transfer them from my iPhone and post them here. *Assuming I can without 10 posts or something.

How funny is that!!!! I also installed mine tonight and got it from exactly the same guy. Same setup except I went with 6k to match my low/high beam HID .... here is a pic that you didn't take ....

I didn't take one with the low beams off, that is a good idea. I guess you still get the idea. I decided not to do HID's in the low beams since I have the projectors but I might do the 55w high beams. Haven't decided yet.

Looked all over the site and could not find 25 watt anywhere....what's with that? Did you have to call to get them and what was the cost?

But, I just looked again and I don't see it. I got the 25w (bulbs & ballast) 4300k HID kit. It was $175. You can try emailing Karl at [email protected]
I was emailing with him until 1am CST the other night. He's in Alaska so you get a few extra hours in the evening.

Matt - That "white stuff" is snow. Only about 4" of it left though. On Wednesday I golfed, 67 degree weather. Friday I put in the new grill, splash guards and new head and tail lights. It was 47 degrees. Tonight, it was 37 degrees with snow on the ground. It's just the start of our nasty winter though. At least I got my boat put away a week ago or I'd be shoveling it out! I got that stored just in the nick of time!

Yes email him and specify that you want a 35w bulb and a 25w ballast. Ask him to send you a Paypal invoice with those specs. He ships same day and sends via priority mail so you'll have them in 2 days from now if ordering today. Nice guy to deal with and very responsive via email.

Looks good and from the pics it looks like you have HIDs in the lows (nice projectors)! IMO do not put HIDs in the high beam unless you are ok with not having the ability to flash. You can still use them but as you can see with the HIDs you installed they take a few seconds to achieve full brightness.

I do not have HID's in the lows. Just the stock bulbs in the projector lenses. Good point about the HID highs, I hadn't thought about the flashing part...

I got an email from Karl regarding the 25w kit, here are his comments:
"I don't have the 25w kits listed on the site. I just ask people to e-mail me at [email protected] with their application so I can confirm that the 25w kit is what they need for their vehicle. We are in the process of building a new web store and we will be sure to add them on the new web store."

there is not difference in cost for the ballast from 35w to 25w ....

Couldn't tell from the pic, man. Where did you install the ballasts? And are the fogs difficult to get to? I've got an '09 Yukon XL, and it looks like the headlights could just be removed to make the swap easier, but the foglights didn't look so straightforward. Still trying to figure out how to swap out the lower grill, but haven't heard from anybody yet.

Anyone familiar with HIDDirectStore? Looking at their 35W H13/9008 HID kit. http://www.hiddirectstore.com/h13-9008-hid-kit.html
Standard ballasts are Hella, I'd get the slim ballasts, though, which are Panasonic, because I want to install the fog lights, too.
