I’ve run a Sony RSX-GS9 hi res music media player for 4 years. Amazing Sound Quality but using my iPhone for screen display and maps finally beat out pure SQ.

I swapped it out for a Kenwood 1057XR with the 10.1” floating touchscreen. Best touchscreen out imo. There’s zero glare from any direction, 1280 x 700 pixels, Apple/android car play, full 13 band eq for anyone not running a Dsp and will play my hi res audio files. Very happy with it so far.

added a usb and hdmi port as well.

I've liked and used Kenwood head units in a number of vehicles without any issues.

Can you post some better pics, please. Also, did you do the install yourself and do you have the rear screen, does it integrate to watch movies from say Apple TV or Hulu live?

I just got this same unit and I love it. But how did you get it to fit so nicely? Also, is your rear video working?

That looks great. I thought those big tesla screens were the next big replacement but this looks like a quality winner. Any side shots from passenger side? Curious how much of a gap away from the console it is

Yes sir it is as well as all my factory Gauges and controls, warnings and reset and code reading of any check engine lights via Idatalink maestro interface on the kenwood now. If you buy the Kenwood or the Sony XAV9500ES

Most are cheap Chinese pieces of junk that just breakdown and offer no real justification for buying considering what all is on the market.

Just me but the last thing I’m tying into my vehicles electrical system is an AliExpress no name touchscreen with janky software.

Not hating by any means at all just basing on my personal experience and feedback from friends of mine who’ve had to cleanup the messes they started in vehicles and the many I’ve seen 1st hand. Hard pass on the Stevie Wonder designed firmware 365 for me.
