so im getting a set of shorty headers for 50 bucks, and picking up an MSD-6al tomorrow for 100. and i got a B&M shiftplus+ shift kit/improver for free. i have the shift kit in now and i love the feel.

i will get you a full mod list when i get home but i think this 6al will be a vary nice addition to my set up. what do you think?

We've spoken in this thru PMS...6al will compliment you nice since you have a came and ported heads.

Headers was a waste of 50 bucks! Installing those yourself? Before you drop money on a dyno pulls invest in a tune and thank me later!

It will never be quite the same as Justin doing your tune. However, this would be close as long as this is a load bearing dyno. This way it isn't just tuned for WOT & you get varying degrees of load/part throttle tuning.

How much are they charging?

there doing 175 for a dyno tune, and it come with 3 pulls on the dyno

Justin has been doing this for SHORT time BUT has a SHITLOAD of experience.

I would keep in touch with them see when they are coming to your area for a drive in tune. He goes thru your driving habits and your wants puts it in the HOE.

Also diagnoses the HOE as they are all different.

Get that 6al yet?

i did and i love it, it got rid of my #2 bank 2 O2 sensor reading engine running lean, my throttle response is way up, my MPG is up. torque is for sure up all through the 7000 rpm. smoothed out my idle, its doing wonders. there will be a video up soon

What kind of PCM & motor do you have to rev up to 7k rpms? Are we talking about the same GMT400 truck here?

lol yes GMT400 was a former 350, now a balanced 383 with some work. i went out and got that dyno tune (they said they will do a live tune once the weather is nicer again) but no rev limiter on the pcm any more, its controlled by the 6al now lol

will do, i want to by next summer run high 11's low 12 in the 1/4 i can already play dabble in the low 14's high 13's so i want faster lol
