Intalled the US Speedo Stainless steel gauge with blue background and blue needles

Then swapped the blue needles with the factory orange ones

I did it myself and its quite easy once you figure out what your doing.
The OEM lights up LED blue and not green

The picture doesnt do it justice as it looks awesome at night. So much better than the stock guage

That is hot! I would like to do something like that, but I am nervous about taking apart my cluster.

Hey jdpromo33- do your needles still light up orange even though you have blue needles?? Curious, just looks that way in the pic. I want to change my needles to Red I think, since I have indiglo blue/green color change face, but interested in knowing if it will even matter??? I have seen pics of others who have changed the bulbs in the back to blue, and there needles ended up lighting blue. Have you not changed the bulbs yet? Maybe that's why.

It's not hard at all.
The only thing that takes a couple of tries to to re-calibrate the needles.

First time I did it wrong and when I filled up with gas it only showed 3/4 full and the speedo was showing 70mph when i was at about 55 mph.

Easiest way to recalibrate is before you put the needles back on you connect the wiring to the gauge WITHOUT turning on the ignition.
Once connected you hear the needles go back to their 0 position.
Then while it's connected push your needles on in the "0" position.

Then disconnect the wiring and turn all the needles to the 12 o clock position.
Then replug in the wiring into the back of the gauge and the needles should all return to the "0" position.

If they are not exact then repeat the process till they return to the "0" position.

Once they are correct then put the plastic cover back on and re-attach the gauge to your dash and put back the 4 screws.
Then put your dash bezel back and your good to go.

When I change the needles again I'll take pics and do step by step

No, the blue once light up a lighter blue than the background and of course the orange ones light up orange.

I'm actually gonna get the Red ones as they will look good against the blue background.
But like the VW Jetta gauges
