Factory rear speaker wasn't a 6.5like I was told. Took a little modification but I got them on the factory brackets.

Got a little more done today. Tweeters should be in tomorrow so I can finish the install. Then I will haft to decide exactly how I want to mount the amp under the seat. Will build some type of platform to mount it to and hide all the wires.

Had my helper and her assistant "helping" me today so things where slow going but she had fun so I'm ok with that.

Got all the connectors crimped, soldered, insulated, and shrink wrapped on.

Got the sound deadening on the outside of the doors and installed all the speakers. All of the interior is back in the truck except the kick panels, a pillars, and the drivers seat.

well she is all back together (haft to pull the pass door panel back off because something isn't making connection :flame:) wow is all I can say. I didn't really think the stock stuff sounded that bad but I was WRONG. so many new sounds added to the music! next will be some type of a amp rack and one day a new sub. but at least its going for now!

Was the PO on here ? I just want more pics and info.

And anything is better than those old stock units. Dont know how you went this long with stock, that was my first mod lol

And what brand is that sound deadening? Is it good stuff? Much $$?

No he isn't on here.

The sound deadening is Noico. I've used quite a few butyl based products. They are all very comparable. One thing I really like about this one is you can really see where you have rolled it so you don't miss anything. It is probably 1/3 the price of dynomat. Amazon sells it
