Small accomplishment this weekend. Looks better in person.

The upper grill came w/ the corner broke. The lower grill i broke off the 4 outside tabs trying to install. biggest concern is the emblem coming off over time. The washers didn't fit right.

I knew the grill didn't come w/ the top chrome piece I was hoping to cover w/ bug deflector from the dealer but that goes above the chrome and didn't look right. has anyone seen the top chrome piece for sale in black anywhere?

Ordered 5202 LEDS from ebay but have no idea how that is suppose to work. I was thinking they would just plug in....

Just paint the chrome piece... it comes off easy... just start at one end and push the clips through from under the hood

I like it. Looks great! I contemplated black or chrome for my Stealth Gray Yukon. Chrome came in today. Now I'm second guessing.

the pics do make it look kinda dull. i'll get some better ones. i still can't decide what to do w/ the headlights. I don't like the nnbs ones at all. I do like how it turned out for the black look I'm going for.

Yes I think I'm going to go w/ the ones 900sub6.0 and Williajj have when I can find them. That will help the look!

Yes the grill does not come w/ an emblem. But it does have the GMC outline to reuse the stock emblem. I had to do small mod to the grill to get the one I have to work.

i have the same grille on my black 09 Denali. I love it. I had to paint the chrome piece on the hood black. I can tell you paint does not like to stick to that piece. I have painted it twice now. Looks killer but needs a repaint every 6 months which is a pain. If you find it for sale in black post up. You do have to get it blacked out. looks out of place with that in chrome.......

I just got the black projector lights to help match up the front. sitting in my garage and will be installed this weekend.

what kind of paint are you using? I'm thinking of just ordering that piece from the dealer or a body shop and having them paint it.....

I want to return the truck to original state when I sell it so I can't paint the top chrome. I'll probably end up ordering that piece from the dealer and then trying to paint it. In the short term anyone have/know where to get a bug shield that goes under the chrome? The bug shield I got from the dealer on my '03 did. But the GM one on these does not.

Also tried my hand at my own tint. Got some precut of ebay. Can't tell in the pics but they ended up w/ scratches/lines that are clearly visible on the inside. So I need to remove it any suggestions on easiest way. Thx.
