Is it me or does the 00-06 not look that boxy?

Is it just me, or does my Tahoe look like a Nissan X-Terra if you look at it from a distance and at an angle?

It doesn't look as boxy as the body style would suggest...

I was kinda trying to get away from driving bubble-shaped cars when I bought the Tahoe... I didn't want to go back to it! :(

Am I just imagining it? Or was it intentional? Any mods I can do to alleviate this look?

What the heck are you asking? Does a Tahoe look like an Xterra? No.
You think they look like bubbles? You can do any mods you want with the right amount of money.
I love the NBS lines. I especially like the "hips" behind the rear doors.

You never knew what a Tahoe looked like before you bought one? But no they don't look anything alike to me.

What does this even mean?

What I meant was, from an angle, you could see that the windows start to angle upwards from the rear passenger doors on. Then when you look at how the roof is shaped, it looks arched a little bit.

That's all I was saying.

It only reminded me of the X-Terra in the way described above. At first glance they look nothing alike, I agree. Maybe it's just me or even the lighting during the time of day that I notice this...

So do you have an X-Terra in the driveway or is all you do while driving around is looking for X-Terra's?

Ok, I think I figured out how it (somehow) resembled an X-Terra...

It's because my Tahoe's front end is angled downward while the rear is pointed upward slightly...

That, in turn caused the optical illusion that the windows were "staircase-ing" upwards...

My bad... that's nothing a pinch of lowering the rear end can't fix!

Girlfriend's mom drives one, only a year old if I am correct. Rode in it yesterday evening. Crap shocks if nothing else, felt the rears bang and rub after each bump.

You know one of many reasons why I like Tahoes and Yukons better than the Xterra? You can find the dang door handle on the inside when its dark.
