95 tahoe originally had a 4wd 4l60e but I'm installing a 98 4l60e from a burban. Is there any computer issues like programming need for it to work everything else is ready.20220716_193718.jpg20220716_193713.jpg20220717_172534.jpg20220717_172543.jpg20220717_172553.jpg

VSS are different. I do not know if they are interchangable for sure but I think they are. Maybe just the slotted Ring. Pull up the parts lists for both. Let us know what you find out.

I'm going with a full digital dash so I know I'll be able to use the harness plug for the new speed sensor but i ran into a problem. had it up in the air and shifted it but didn't get anything from the trans, Oil level on dipstick looks to be good drive shaft is connected Torque converter is also bolted on.
While the vehicle is off Park and neutral do work But while running the vehicle it does not go into any gear at all So I'm wondering if the CPU is not engaging some solenoid or something

I looked at car-part.com and did NOT see interchanges for 95 trans.
you might get better info at ATRA website about differences.
