Anyone know if I pulled the stock radio head unit in my 02 if there is a place to wire in an auxiliary ipod connection in the back? I was thinking if there was I could run the wire into the small cubby (On Star) area and keep my Nano plugged in there.

My head unit is just the single CD player, and it has an AUX button on the front, thought maybe it was set up for one.

You have to hook up one of these or something like it. Bestbuy carries something like this, but is highly overpriced there.

This is another option that works well without hardwiring.

Personally, I think the aux mod is a waste of money, replaceing the headunit is a better option for the money unless you want to keep the factory look.

I don't wanna spend that much on the Aux mod,
but it would be nice,

I've got a Belkin FM Modulator, and it sucks.
on the highway, i have to change the station every 20-30 min (as new radio stations come in)
and it just dosn't sound as good

Sounds like you want an aftermarket headunit.
