There is a guy on fb market place that sells the iPad mounting plates. I've also seen a tyf member that did that conversion on a nnbs tahoe. Have you tried the search bar?

You could upload to yt then post the link here.Neo magnets are your friend for most car audio fab related stuff. Holds tight and easily removable if you need to service anything. Here’s a video of a friend of mine who did one in an Escalade (2012) used a small motor to release iPad when needed.
My only tip would be to remember to have your lighting cable/ charging plugs in the back.
Have a video of it moving and locking into place but couldn’t upload it.

Nice. Looks really good.I ended up making my own with a 3d printer and a few sleepless nights. I can make them for these body styles.

For the minimal effort involved, I think it looks good. No sarcasm intended.Hey guys, I found this thread via searching. I've come up with a solution for this problem and wanted to get your feedback. What do you think of an iPad mini mounting frame that fastens over the stock radio? The mounting frame sticks on the 07-14 Tahoe/Yukon dash with 3M heavy duty tape, and the iPad mini snaps in and out. You still have access to your radio behind it. The buttons and ports are accessible. I put some holes in the bottom, so you could use a u-shaped ipad charger and hide the charging cable behind the ipad. Ive attached some pictures of it. What do you think?
