Seems that the new iOS (26) has messed with car play and the connectivity is awful. My work around was to turn off CarPlay and use the vehicle. Call quality improved 1000%…

I’m guessing that Apple will fix this in the new update due this week or the following one. Has anyone heard anything?

There have been reports of a wifi issue in ios 26 with some phones and that would cause issues with carplay. ios 26.1 developer beta was released yesterday and would expect the public beta today or tomorrow which may address the wifi issue.

I had issues with previous Beta 26 with audio dropping for a few seconds on a 14 Pro. I'm now on public ios26 on the iPhone Air and haven't had any issues.

I stopped having issues with my iphone connecting when I upgraded to IOS 26 so I am happy now.
