Installing HD camera rearview mirror on 2021 Yukon AT4

I just got a crate for my German Shepherd in the back of my 2021 Yukon AT4 and unfortunately, it blocks the view of my rearview mirror.

I saw that the Yukon Denali comes with an HD Camera Mirror that you can toggle on or off.

Would it be possible to swap my regular mirror with the HD mirror from the Denali and install a camera somewhere in the back of the vehicle so I can view the vehicles behind me as I drive?

If not, is there any good quality aftermarket rearview camera mirror that I could swap for mine?

I am wondering if the electronic mirror just uses the existing back up camera, which would make sense.

No, the electronic mirror requires a secondary camera that is next to the backup camera in the Denali Trim.

I came wanting to do this exact swap on my 21 Tahoe. Seems like it should of been included on the Z71 package for the price. I wonder if the dealer would be able to do a swap?

Sorry, I don't. I remember the guy did not include a detailed write-up (or I would've copied/pasted). Just said he bought those three items, installed them... and it worked. Wish I could help!

This is a good question. This is the only thing from the advanced tech package that I actually cared about getting.

so after some research here is what i came up with.
the mirror itself is part number 13536995
cable is this link https://www.ebay.com/itm/293505505856
camera part number is 84271644

cable and camera do state they are for 15-20 escalade however these items might be the same items used in 2021 models as well.

from watching the reviews on youtube i see that the mirrors on 2021s are kinda V shaped . my assumption is that these are the second gen mirrors with better refresh rate.

first gens were upside down V kinda . as in longer edges were at the bottom. and first gens were low refresh rate so were hard to focus when you looked at them. same seller who sells the cable kit has a mirror for $350 which i think is first gen.

anyways if anyone wants to chime in please do so. except the liftgate camera i can confirm the guy who upgraded his car used the mirror and cable up above.
