Installing garage door opener

Has anyone tried replacing front overhead lights Unit with a factory garage door opener?

i have, but i have not gotten the door opener to work yet. only tried one though

Yep, no problem plug and play, once you get it installed you have to program your door to it, and clear out the previous codes if you bought it used. I also changed the switch in the center for the roof emergency lights to power my dash cam.
