For some time, the Navigation screen, when I have the radio set to display the map display, seems to lock into my home address and does not follow the car's actual position. "Location Services Not Available" is diplayed. Switching the screen to full screen map display and then switching back to shared music/map display doesn't change the error. That trick used to work but not anymore. This only happens some days. Of course when I think I should go for dealer service, it's working fine.
Everything else seems to be working with Google. When I use my Android phone and use google maps at the same time the phone maps the location perfectly. Turning my phone off and using my wife's iPhone linked to the vehicle doesn't fix the issue either. So it's not the phone(s) with the problem.

All Ideas are welcome!!

I’ve had similar issues with the gps not tracking as well as the navigation app won’t come up on the screen at all. If you select it it just goes back to the selection screen. I do a system reboot using the phone off button on the steering wheel. You need to have the vehicle running but stopped and in park then push and hold the phone off button on the steering wheel for 5 - 10 seconds until the infotainment screen goes blank and into a reboot. This has worked for me so far. Sucks that the systems have so many glitches in them still.

I knew somebody here had an idea! It's working today but I now feel ready to attack the problem when (not IF) it happens again.

Thanks 972sparky!

Here is a link to a Chevy infotainment system troubleshooting guide. States that you may need to hold the phone off button up to 15 seconds to reboot. Might answer some other issues for you as well.
