Ideas for a replacement center console

NBS console?? They look good if you take your time and really mate it up to the dash. Theres a 05 escalade at my brothers shop with a console, but its more less just the base/metal brackets. youll need the top stuff if your interested. requires work, but they look good

I just picked this up today Im going to wrap some parts to match the black leather and suede in my truck and dye the plastic panels black and gray to match as well. I need to find that top part but it was the cheapest console i could find and its in great shape.

Ok, here's what I have... One is just perfect, the other was repainted grey. I have the heater pieces too.

The excellent one has the woodgrain trim, and a non-broken rear cupholder.

CD players are gone as some clown busted them all apart, the subs are in both, but can be removed. The painted one has no rear window control buttons, and would be great in a pickup. I do have the back off as I was thinking about glassing it, but since I cant use it...

The excellent one is good for any vehicle.

Denali consoles

Here's the one I just picked up for $50 bucks. Was a mess but cleaned up pretty good. Had to throw some suede in a two tone color. Did the headliner and upper console as well. Just need to do my seats but can't find time to do it. I do upholstery so I'll get it done eventually. Here's pics of my console. If anyone needs a console I can help find one, clean, color match, in any color combination with any materials for a fee plus shipping.

Carda .....are you using the sub? It will be a plus to wire it up , I had 6 of the Bose amps and scraped them for $$$ then I read someone was able to wire the amp to drive just the sub they had the wiring schematics now I need to get another console to see how the Bose amp sounds

Vs my 1 ohm stable class d 350 RMS mtx amp.

Try Google that info or get another amp and wire the sub to it now this sub is 1.4 ohms so the amp will need to be 1 ohm stable.

The one for $50 is just the top cup holder cover for the center console. And the Cadillac center console sold for $300 which isn't too bad because it's clean. Easy to change color to your specifications.

does anyone know if the Denali console has a special adapter for the duct work under the center of the dash? almost all of the airflow from lower center vent goes directly into the console now.

What year console do you have? If it's out of a 99 I have no issue with my air going in it.

Its an OBS style from a 99. The floor vents under the dash on the trans tunnel not push air directly into the center console trapping it which isnt very effective. I can put my hand over the cup holders and feel cool air slowly pushing out when the A/C is on.
I want to know if GM used a different type of duct work there for the Denalis

well the hvac box was not designed to accommodate a console that gets in the way like that. if there are some on the side you can cover the console blocked ones or make you own ducting system and install vent on the sides of console. maybe also a blocking plate on the front of assembled console so air goes sideways perhaps.
