I have a major problem, i think my ecu is shot...:emotions122:

when i am driving along my radio randomly cuts on and off, my 4 small gauges peg to 0, all the lights come on and then everything goes back, and my tranny wont shift right, to run 60 MPH i am at like 3500 RPM, it randomly comes out of gear, and over revs, someone please wake me up from this bad dream

ok, wake up, it sounds like a bad ground.

or low voltage.

Checked the voltage, its fine...in the process of checking grounds and such, but a bad ground would not cause the tranny to act up would it

it could if it affected the PCM or TCM.

Wasn't there an issue with the rear block ground on these trucks?

I'd check the fusible link under the hood too.

Sounds like 2 separate problems. Make sure it's tranny fluid and not transfer case fluid. I had a little incident with a cracked transfer case housing cover.

Also, check the wiring harness by the emergency brake arm. The arm mayrub against the large bundle, and abrade the wire insulation down enough to expose the bare wires.
