Hi All,
New to the forum and looking to order my first 2016 Denali. I am curious I don't see anything on the HUD and was interested in peoples' input also if you have one what do you think of it. I have one on my BMW and love it so I was wondering what people think of GMs I don't have any dealers in Maine who have one to sample. Sorry to people not techy HUD Heads Up Display

I have a 15' Denali with HUD... I like it. I like how you can choose different options like navigation turn by turn.

Thanks jl449 Have you had any problems I've red you can't see it with polarized sunglasses at least with BMW you can't it also might depend on sunglasses. Does yours show you text messages from your phone Thanks for the response

Yeah, with my Oakleys on during the day I have to turn the dash and hud dimmers all the way up. Then at night, turn it all the way down. It's a great feature.

I love mine. No problems whatsoever.

I had to rush my infant daughter to the hospital today, to the pediatric urgent care, where I had never been. The 6.2l and the nav on the Hud really helped out. Worth every penny.

I love mine as well. Its so different than all the rest of the green prehistoric HUD you saw on the 2010 ish vehicles.

Its great and I find myself looking for it when Im driving something else.

With my Oak shads yes during the day I turn up the brightness but not an issue at all. And no issue with the HUD. As for Text... I have an older android and I can't link my text with the system at all.

On my 02 Yukon I use the Torque pro app and my Samsung 10.1 tablet and I love it.

Oh and it looks much clearer in person.

Can this be installed. I see the window on the dash of all the yukons. Can you add the had to one. Anyone can get a hold of schematic. Maybe it's plug and play

Hi Showtime1k There are several companies that make aftermarket ones Garmin for instance and Cnet cars has some very interesting utube videos basically you will need to plug the hud into your onboard diag and the hud displays the information from that

Do the Denali without the hid still have the hud opening in the dash?

Hello to answer the question about the opening. I believe they do not have the opening I only say this because if they did it would expose the inside electronics to the environment of the cabin

This is true. I've had HUD in my Z06 for years. Can't see it for c--p w/ sunglasses.
