Just an update...

V3.0 harness added. removed V1.0 and V2.0.

I still make these fellas, just pricing is a little better now that I've eliminated a few things. :Handshake:

Just an update, I have the parts on the way to make 3 more harnesses. One is sold, which leaves me with 2 more.

Anyone interested, PM or Email me. :Handshake:

I have had the swap on my 07 tahoe since early 08, and just this weekend noticed the park(outside row and 4 outer) lights are dim on my left tail quite significantly compared to my right side....any suggestions on what it could be or what to check?

Not entirely sure. Switch the harnesses and see if the harness is bad?

I changed the whole harness and resistors, but still the same. I suppose it's going to be the tail light

I have a question. Im new to this Tahoe forum and I been seeing people say G3,G4, or G5. What does that mean? What would I have to do to get a harness from you for my 2007 Chevy Tahoe LT?

G3, G4, and G5 are not OEM. They are aftermarket LED tail lamps. They do not require a harness.

Only the OEM tails will require a modified harness.

G3 and G4 look the same with G4 having updated LEDs.
They have the escalade tail look but are curved to match the form of the existing Tahoe/yukon appliques above the tails.
G5 are exact escalade replicas and require the escalade appliques to match their 'pleated' shape,
Like ScSS said, none of these require a harness, they are made to be pnp to Tahoes/Yukons.

Escalade oem tails require the modified harness that ScSS lovingly builds between his naked thighs.

Where would be the best place to buy some Escalade tail lamps for my Tahoe?

That's correct ... you can se the square 'pleat' line continuing up the corresponding Escalade applique above the G5.

Where would be the best place to buy a set of the G4 tail lamps? Also where would be the best place to get the third brake light too.

Btw, there are some other small differences tween the two lamps ... one is the way they illuminate, and the other is the clear back up bulb space wraps around on the G4 whereas it just faces backwards on the G5.

Ebay seller Revotec ... sometimes a bad lamp will come by and he exchanges them asap.

Would he carry the third brake light as well?

One last note ... if you are going to do the G4s and not do the Escalade 3rd brake lamp, then also get the matching replacement 3rd brake light because it matches the clarity of the tails, as opposed to the opaque oem on on there now. You can buy them as a set: http://www.ebay.com/itm/07-08-09-10...&fits=Model:Tahoe&hash=item20c742bbf7&vxp=mtr

It will look like this:

If you want the esky spoiler/third he won't have that ... you can usually find them on ebay in different colors, and will have to paint it to match.

Btw, if you want you can PM me any questions or start a thread on the topic ... we seem to have taken Robbie's thread slightly off topic.
