How do I know what transfer case I have? This is the only label I could find. 98 Yukon 4x4.

Button has the 'Auto 4HI' button but I think its an aftermarket switch panel.

I understood that the 98 4x4s with "Auto 4Hi" push button 4wd take AutoTrak II fluid. I bought the fluid but have been holding off changing fluid because I want to be sure I got the right stuff. Can I find the exact t-case model in the RPO codes? Or am I looking for a label on the case itself?

NP8 transfer case code. GM246 transfer case. Gets the "rub" problem.

Description:

This transfer case is one of the so-called "automatic transfer cases,” or “active transfer cases.” This description results from the fact that the 246 has an "automatic 4WD function,” a 2WD position, a 4WD High function, neutral and 4WD Low position. Driving the vehicle in 2WD has all torque flowing through the transfer case to the rear driveshaft, and the vehicle operates just like a 2WD vehicle.
