HIDs too hot?

I just got my new projector headlights with my HIDs in today. The HIDs are from thehidfactory.com They are 55 watt i think. Is it possible for the lights to get too hot and melt the plastic lens on the headlight? It seems like it is trying to.

It is very possible for the housings to melt with hids. Some lights can handle hids and some can't. You might want to check with whoever you bought the projectors from and ask them if they can handle 55w hids.
