Ok wife is going get me DDM his for my bday, so slim ballast or the captors also 35 or 55 watt and I an getting 5000k bulbs. Let the conversing begin.

Oh, its a 2000 Nps LT. 2 wd ,Light pewter sitting on 285/70/16's.

slim ballasts are really necessary imo, since there is so much room behind the grille shell to mount them. i'm happy with my 35w 4300k from DDM.

i got the raptor, plenty of room for the ballasts. The slim if you can get for the same price, otherwise i wouldnt pay the difference. Both do the same. On my gto i got the 55w slim, no room, (and got on a special they had) but cant really compare since the goat has projectors in it. If you go 55w. get the harness. Or well get it anyway. Just put one on my tahoe today, lights up much faster and better.

I have 55W 10,000K Slim Ballast HID's. Love them and there super bright.
