HID Retrofit issues

A couple years ago, I ordered a retrofit from black flame customs and have been very happy. Over the past few days however, the passenger side projector has not been firing up. Sometimes I am able to manually turn the headlights off and back on which seems to "fix" the issue and turn both headlights on. Because of this, I'm thinking the issue is with the passenger side ballast but I'm not sure how to check it. Any ideas? Here is my setup:

Mini mh1 bi xenon projectors
H1 5000k bulbs
Amp morimoto ballasts

Swap the passenger side ballast with the drivers side. And put the passenger ballast on the drivers side and see if the problem moves to the drivers side or stays on the passenger side. If it changes then it's the ballast. If it stays on the passenger side then it's the bulb

True! Also check the relays for each side by swapping relays. I had trouble with my ballast on the passenger side and replaced it and the relay to fix it.

Figured it out. I had some water in one of the watertight connectors going from the ballast to the bulb. I have no idea how that happened but after dumping the water out, I haven't experienced any more issues.

Try using some heat shrink on that connection to avoid the issue again.
Or use some Vaseline inside the connection
