I'm from cookeville tn. new to the tahoe/yukon trucks and wanting to learn all about them. I'm 31 years old. I work at a mechanic shop and love turning wrenches. I'm an alignment tech so I really don't get into too much engine and interior stuff but am wanting to learn all I can about these beasts!! I am a die hard chevy guy and it's the only vehicle I've owned since 16yrs old. my first truck was a 95 s10 2wd. my second was a 79 gmc sierra k10 long bed and I've had s10s and s10 blazers since. FINALLY found my 2 door yukon and am super thrilled to be a part of the page here. thanks everyone!!!

Thanks for the welcomes everyone I appreciate it... it's a 93 has a little bit if high mileage but it's originally an Alaska rig. Now it's at home in almost salt free tennessee. This weekends first big project is upper and lower ball joints and then some custom gauges. I'm so glad I found this one really I looked high and low for one and I love it. The true dual exhaust is my favorite thing about it

Yep Alaska and it's rust free....besides a little bit in the 1/4 behind the passenger door and honestly it's not too bad either...if it gets worse I'll be getting a weld in panel and patching it up. They only cost what 45-50 bucks. I plan on keeping this thing til the cluster says 500k atleast. I also plan on doing an engine and trans/transfer case before then too but you know I'd love to keep this one for years and years to come. Any guy can buy a new truck a real guy keeps an old one going hahaha
