While in PA approximatly 300 miles from home I was in a parking lot when I went into reverse I heard a loud crunching sound coming from my front left wheel, I got out and found grease sprung all inside of the inner wheel I presume that came from the cv boot? any ideas or thoughts would be appreciated

Bearing in wheel hub assembly went out?

A bolt from the brake carrier backed out and cut the cv boot and was grinding up against the axle, ill replace eventually
