Well I got my z71 yesterday and could not be happier. It has slight wear in the rear map pocket and on some of the air conditioner buttons. The plastic chipped off anyone know if they sell each button separate?

Couple quick questions. I don't have any head phones so does that mean the rear passengers can not listen to the movie if I have music on? I've tried to stay in v4 mode but what is the optimal speed rpm to do so on highway.

I can't find any headphone jacks if there are any for rear seat passengers I looked through an online manual because the car didn't come with one.

It does have some scratches on the number that was touched up but ill have my auto body buddy paint it and other than that I was provided with all maintenance for the last four years. Well taken care of I'm pretty excited. Also rides smoother than I expected for the off road package.

nice ride man!! Those Z71's have a ton of potentials :waytogo:

With the headphones I think you may be able to get new wireless headphones from the dealership if the entertainment system is factory.

I look forward to seeing what you do with her! :)

Nice ride man! Glad it all worked out for you, and with the savings of the great deal you got, you can get some new factory buttons :)

My AC buttons actually chipped off too but I got the whole AC panel in the dash replaced for free since via the bumper to bumper warranty.

I figured if I was in warranty i could get them repleced. I"m actually buying a bumper to bumper in a few months so I hope they may cover it. Those esky roof racks are pretty sick on your ride felix.

Well if you want the GM one you -have- to get it before your 36k runs out. Otherwise you'll have to get a 3rd party one.

Thanks man! All my oem-esky mod's are by far my favorite mods.

Even on the highway when we travel to Indiana we only average about 17 mpg. That's with cruise set at 75 to 80 most if the way.

I get 14/17 city/highway.... Not even close to what y'all are getting... Wonder why...

Petal to the Metal? :)

They just might work. We had some old wireless headphones from our families old Chevy Venture Van that we got rid of years ago. We recently got a 2011 Traverse and they work in the vehicle with the built in DVD system, and radio (Channel A and B) just fine. I do not see why you would have any problems!

Well I got my z71 yesterday and could not be happier.

Nonetheless, congrats. on the new ride! I am sure you will love it!!

You guys make me sick! :buttkick:

My Z71, all city driving 25 to 35 mph, I am pulling 11.5 mpg.

I was expecting better out of the tahoe. Stupid me!

The only decent vehicles I have on gas mileage are my two new Impalas,
they are pulling about 18 mpg in city driving.

Thirsty1258,

Congratulations on your new purchase! Most of the vehicles with the rear entertainment system have the wireless headphones that don’t need to be plugged in. Your passengers won’t be able to listen to their DVD until you get those head phones. Could you please let me know what model year you own so I can look into the other things?

Thank you!

Thanks gyys and sheriff holy Hell that's terrible mpg. I'm sure sitting in traffic kills it also. Luckily I work T night so I barely have to wait. Elizabeth I have a 07 z71 with a flip down dvd system. I just may have the hummed set mailed if they worked from your van. Thx!
