Hey guys...just got a set of chrome side mirror covers....these are not covers that fit over the existing painted covers....these are direct replacements.
The instructions say to use a thin tool and a piece of cardboard...literally! Both me and my buddy tried pulling the passenger side cover off and we can't even seem to get one clip out...forget about the three bottom clips and the couple of clips along the top.
Most important...I don't want to damage the painted ones that are on the truck now because I may end up going back to them. I like the chrome...but until I see them on there, I'm undecided. I got them online for a little less than if I were to buy them through the dealer, so it's not a huge investment if I want to go back...Problem is, I can't get the original ones off to even see.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
