Installed HID lows today and now and can't get the truck to start.

I had originally put negative from HID to battery. But now I can't seem to get the negative battery cable to make a connection to the battery post. I tried connecting and reconnecting a million times. Rarely does it even make a spark when the cable touches the post.

When my interior and other lights work but the battery gauge doesn't show any power. When I try and start it I get 1 click and then nothing.

I'm pretty sure my negative connection is my problem. The truck is new nothing is corroded. I took a brush and brushed the post anyway. But that didn't work.

Any suggestions to fix this?

Thanks.

can you get it to tighten down or is it loose? Hows the battery? Might be dead and or need a recharge.

Connection seems tight. Been working on it more. At the end all my lights would just flicker. And just now the remote lock wouldn't lock the truck. So maybe I just wore down the battery. I'll see if I can find someone to jump it.

I don't think I have a good ground connection on the HID harness. The driver light would flicker before. Would having a bad ground on the HID affect anything else?

Thanks for the reply.
