Got a chip for my 97 tahoe but CD with installation guide was broken. Looking for installation instructions. Help!

If it's a chip and you have a 1997.... send it back!!! Your rig doesn't use chips at all, you have to reflash the computer for computer changes. As suggested, get a computer tune - either dyno, mail-order (custom), or handheld. Chips were used in the ODBI trucks (pre-96). ODB2 trucks (96-present) have to be reflashed to update the computer programming.

those are ripoffs they dont work all they do is modify the singal for air to fuel ratio back to the ecu just save your money for a black bear

i had chip in my 92 silverado...although it was tbi the chip didnt do shit...programmer or custom tune is the only way to go.
