help! '07 Z71 front fender/side damage

My son was driving my Tahoe and scraped up against a cement pole driving through a drive-thru. He scraped up the driver's side fender pretty bad. What's the best thing to do to fix the fender scrapes? (pics)

body shop..need to remove fenderflare and bumper cap, sand down, fill in deeper gouges with a poly type filler, prime, color coat, wetsand, buff, then reinstall.

@timjohnson22 I'm in Austin, TX, man if I could only spend $170 on this that'd be great. The dealership gave me an estimate... $750

@InTruckDesign How much would you think all that body shop work would cost? Just an estimate?

dirtbikedude2201 I took your photo's to "The Install Shop" and they said that it was going to be $400 - $500. They can give you a better quote if they could see it in person. Well its a $350 - $250 savings.

Another shop that I went to was "The Candy Shop" They also said that it would be $500 to $600 and they need to see it in person.

Update

I'm still avoiding the $500+ to repair, so I went ahead and tried some everyday scratch remover (not expecting it to work since these aren't your average "scratch") but it did help restore some color and make it a little less noticeable. Just an update.
