I’ve had my Tahoe for a couple of years now. And the bottom seat heater has never worked on the drivers side.the back heater would work for a min or two then kick off. For some reason this winter made me want to fix it. So I bought a seat heating element from theseatshop.com
Took my seat out and apart put the new element into the seat. It still doesn’t work. Before I put the néw one in the passenger side has always worked but now it’s kicking off after a minute or so. Hope someone can help with this puzzle.

you will want to check the wiring harness connector for burnt connectors and follow the harness wire back a bit under the carpet there is a place where it melts a little and causes it to fail, there are probably some threads on it here but the search function is fubar, you can try googling "seat heater tahoeyukonforum" and may get a hit that way or if someone else chimes in that has a watched thread link.
