heat issues

So i drove last night about an hour and my temp was a smidge under half way..........when I turned the heat on to de-fog the windows all i got was ice cold air, in any position on the direction switch.

what gives

Maybe your thermostat but your vehicle probably would overheat!! The heater has a thermal resistor or something like that usually under the dash on pass. side!!
