Throw some good ***** magazines in the back and your friends will be entertained for a lot cheaper. I've never been a fan of the headrest monitors unless you have kids but that's just me I suppose.

Why? You drive a $60k vehicle (just guessing) and you think having screens in your head rests are not a good idea? I am going to tell everyone on the next trip they cannot watch the flip down unless I fathered them.

I got the CLT-700 which gives you a better screen supposedly. I installed them myself and hooked them to my nav unit so I can either play the DVD in the headrest and have the sound either in headsets or through the speakers, or put the DVD in the nav unit and play on both monitors. Either way they are nice, as long as I can keep the kid from opening up the DVD player while it's playing.

Have any idea if the Cld-700 has the same screen as the clt-700?

I need 4 for the kids, and I really want to eliminate the touch screen issue (clt designates touchscreen).

Also how did you tap to the main dvd? Did you have to use a video repeater or something to increase the signal feed from the main head unit?

Not saying its not a good idea, just my opinion. I didn't know he did not have the larger flip down screen. Adding two more monitors just seemed like overkill but apparently that is not the situation. And the car I mentioned was my old roommates car so yes, it was a POS and only deserved a couple dirty magazines.

Ok sorry I screwed up I got the CLD-700X (Digital Panel whatever that means) not the CLT-700T. Honestly I thought the same thing but my son can reach the buttons and the open button, so I guess it really doesn't matter much, if they can reach them they probably will mess with them, at least my son does. But it shows that they (CLD-700X and the CLD-700T) have the digital screen for superb picture according to there brochure. http://www.conceptbuy.com/images/Concept 2011.pdf

BTW, you have a lot of money for a 15 year old. More than I do for mods at least and I make a decent amount of money. I guess when you have a truck payment, mortgage, two car insurance premiums, three dogs, etc. your money doesn't go as far. I worked
Full time when I was 16 and I always had cash for my system. I bought a $1600 flip out alpine deck with disk changer, JL subs, top notch alarm and others. I envy you lol.
