HD Wide Mouth Grille (Yet Another Face Lift)

So I have been wanting to do a wide mouth grille for a while but I can only work on my car after hours so this took me a few months to complete. I took my 2 piece HD grille and made it a one piece with some 4240 and use some generic grille mesh from amazon in the center. I have some more mods for the front end here soon just debating on what I am gonna do.

Your're right I am not too fond of that preticulated grille mesh but for now better than nothing.

Won't give too much away but one of my ideas has been to plastic weld a Denali bumper to the HD upper cap to make a true Denali HD bumper. Still playing with the idea seeing as how expensive the Denali impact bar is.

It's just because you've never seen a wide mouth grille on this style grille. It stops and makes you think for a second and then you see the custom work. See them on all the new trucks now.

It looks good. Wonder if you pushed the mesh out further to be almost flush with the rest of the grill if it wouldn't look better.

Thinking about it. Have to make a wooden stencil to press it unless you have a better way.

Looks great man! Did you mount the light bar to the v-shaped rad support bars that hold the latch in place... (I think I'm remembering what I saw in there when I looked in fall...) I have a similar idea planned.

Finally! I'm doing this too, when I had a taco the satoshi grills were really popular on those trucks. Thought it would look good, and now I know it does!

Had one on my 3rd gen Dakota . Looked amazing . Was the first to have one.
