Hate my woodgrain...

What are my options to cover it? I'm NOT handy so are there pre made cut out kits I could do?

I painted mine. There is a thread on here somewhere with wrapped int trim.

I would advise against those peel n stick kits.

They look cheap, and don't fit very well. Take it somewhere to get wrapped or painted if your not comfortable doing it.

I went with the 3M woodgrain vinyl wrap from that link above! Found the wrap closest to my denali Blackwood and I absolutely love it. Its a little bit of a pain to get it around co toured corners but it's over all easy to do yourself. And they make it in every different color and style you can think of, not just wood.

I have a 2012 SLT Yukon with PARTIAL woodgrain and it is driving me nutso... I only have 7 pieces of woodgrain so any thoughts?

You don't want any of this stick on stuff... Why or what is only partial on yours? Everything should be wood grain except the radio trim, trim on the steering wheel, and center console. There's plenty of options to get it all to match without stickers. Even vinyl wrap would be better



I had those pieces hydrodipped on mine to match....

each door is woodgrain so there is 4 then 3 peices going across the dash. vents are silver and radio bezel is silver

I edited my previous post for a better answer. I think the silver on the vents make it pop a little...

ok so I only have the doors and the 3 dash parts. What did it cost to get it all dipped and reinstalled? I cannot do it myself.

Painted looks great. Did it on the Tahoe and the pickup. Love it - painted a few guys Tahoe trim on this forum too and they all love it. Cleans up the interior like you woudn't believe. I paint for $120 plus shipping back to you.

Left AC vent bezel, Radio bezel, center vent bezel, all four window switches. If you have the flip up cup holder, add another $30. I will disassemble and reassemble so there are zero paint lines and it looks clean. taking the pieces off is very easy. Just have to separate your vents from the bezels once removed, and re install or else your AC will suck ass. Turn around time - 1 week (plus shipping)
