H2 rear bumper

Anyone know if the H2 or H3 rear bumper/tire carrier combo will mount up without a lot of headache on a 99 Tahoe?

The bumpers of H2s and H3s I often pull out of ditches with my ‘99 Hoe often get pretty beat up lol. Not sure if they’d fit anything after the rescue mission lol.

But seriously, I’ll bet one of the fellas around here can answer your question. I unfortunately do not know that answer.

There is a dual swing out option available for these at Baseline Overland. These are the square body and GMT800 versions.

That requires big honking ***** bumper...

The h2 carrier is $200 *brand new* on Amazon

Yeah it basically bolts to whatever bumper with four holes easy leasy, Ive seen it on a base model gmt800 bumper, not beautiful but it works. Slap a Denali/Escalade smooth cover between there and it would look good. The beackets are a bit wide on the chrome metal part of the GMT80O bumper so with the black brackets on the chrome part of the black and chrome bumper... Eh... Aesthetics are eh... But yes the h2 tire carriers bolt to whatever. Just get a new one from amazon itll be pretty and fresh. Used yards are in love with them and then its old and faded and possibly rusty lol SMH...

Im going to flip my tow hitch to the top of the frame rail and then stick some 8ga 2"box in the gap to the hatch with brackets, weld on a pair of D ring cleats, and nuts for bolts to hold the h2 bracket, then paint it with 2k caliper paint and slap it on there. Then Ill stick my tag in a jeeple spare tire tag frame with the backlit led 3rd brake light behind it...
