If I wanted your opinion I would ask for it. Since your are the expert now, please enlighten us as to why it does not work, post up the dyno numbers from when you tested this. An Aftermarket MAF does have a place on a motor making the power to require it. I am no expert on these, but you are right that on a stock motor, you would see very little gains. Get a motor making twice the power of your 350 and yes, this now has a place (or a motor with no tune that can be tricked into thinking more air is coming in and leaning out the fuel). The MAF sensor will trick the system into running leaner...leaner does make more HP. I have heard people notice a little throttle response from these and minimal gains. So again, everything has a place.
