Well hi my name is shawn its nice to be apart of these forums! So I bought this truck a couple weeks ago for $1000. It had a blown motor and a bad tranny, on top of that they had parts attached to that blown up motor that came off different model chevrolets trucks and cars! The radiator was out of a newer chevrolet car!
So luckily enough i had a freshly built 350 in the garage, after $1000 in parts and a new beefy tranny she lives again. One more issue the entire ifs needs to be rebuilt, didnt know I had purchased such a project. But I've always loved the look of a two door and the fact this truck already had 6 inches of suspension and 3 inch body I still think i got a deal. Needless to say I'm the proud owner of a 1994 2 door ;)

I'm on a long hard hunt for some used tires which isn't going to well.

I used to own a 96 2 door Tahoe. Wish I still had it. Check at some of the tire stores in your area for take offs that people may have traded in for new tires. What will make it hard is if you are trying to get the same size as you got. $1000 is a good price and now you can take your time to spend your money as you wish as you do your mods.

Regear As soon as you can those are huge tires and thats most likely why the trans blew

4.56 yukon in rear factory still in the front but I dont plan on using the 4x4 i went from 35/14.50/16 to 33/12.50/16.5 got a lot peppier after i put the smaller tires on. And the truck has 248k on the body the tranny before had the same mileage and he ran this thing in the mud every weekend I suspect that had something to do with it.
