anyone have any tips for re-carpeting the tahoe? ordered new carpet from LMC truck, as well as a new seat cushon, and soon to add new leather seat covers for the front seats

wondering if there are any tips i should know before venturing off and doing this. thanks

have you removed all the old stuff yet? would be a great time to lay down a layer of roll on bedliner underneath the carpet and maybe some hushmat or something equivalent. roll on bedliner underneath the carpet will keep it from rusting down there after a window has been left open or such. you can vacuum the carpet all you want but that insulation soaks up water. that water stays trapped under the top layer of carpet until it fully dries out.

Hit Google up for replacing car carpet. There's a ton of info out there on the subject and the process is pretty standard among most average vehicles.
