after alot of thought i decided to tone DOWN my system. I was running all rockford = 6 1/2 coax in doors,6 1/2 components in kick panels,6x8 in a custom panel under rear seat , 6x8 in roof with 2- p400.4 amps.as for my sub it was a RF t212d2 pushed by a RF 1000.1 mono block. I scaled it back to 6 1/2 components in the doors,6 1/2 coax in panel under rear seat with .64 cu ft air space, 6x8 roof and a 10 sub in a custom enclosure in the rear quarter. all being pushed by 2 RF p400.4 amps.

Forgive me for saying this but it was too loud .meaning if I'm bumping it and beleive me I love music,it just wasn't practical for me anymore.now i'm going for SQ I still have decent bass without the weight ,lost space

ya i agree for a daily driver it just gets old.
i had a 12" sub in my old car and i thought i had it on at a normal volume level. it wasn't until i went without a car for 4 months, then got my Yukon and heard the stock system that i realized how loud i was playing my shit before.

Sound quality all the way bro :)
btw, nice job putting the sub back there in that custom enclosure. looks sweet and doesn't eat up cargo space (another reason i didn't transfer my sub into my Yukon)

ya, there are times i miss my 12" in the back thumping away, but i'll save my hearing now before it's too late.
besides, i have a decent setup in my bedroom :)
though after seeing all the different setups that are possible in Yukons without eating up space, i'm starting to consider one again.
but at the same time i don't want to give up the factory head unit because i like the Constant Sound Volume feature.

how did you seal the 10 in the rear panel?
I wanna do something like that in my 2 door, but know if i wanna take the time and do a fiberglass one to match the rear panel
